Dance X returns to Melbourne!

It’s not often that we get the opportunity to see some of the best dancers from top dance

companies across Australia and New Zealand.

Well great news, that is all about to change!

Coming to the Arts Centre in Melbourne for two weeks this October 8-19th, is Dance X – a

festival of dance showcasing bold new works and extraordinary performances from The

Australia Ballet, Royal New Zealand Ballet, Bangarra Dance Theatre, West Australia Ballet,

Stephanie Lake Company, Restless Dance Theatre, Dancenorth and the NT Dance

Company.

Each performance will bring something unique and different to the stage from some of the

most creative and inspiring choreographers and artists.

From ‘Yuldea’ performed by the Bungarra Dance Theatre telling the story of the Anangu

people of the Great Victorian Desert set in 1917 to a contemporary piece from The Restless

Dance Theatre ‘Seeing Through Darkness’ showing how dance uplifts the spirit and brings

people together, to the Royal New Zealand Ballet’s ‘Te Ao Marama’ inspired by the Haka.

Dance X will deliver a powerful celebration of stories to the stage through dance and

expression for everyone to enjoy.

Tickets go on sale June 16th – visit Australianballet.com.au
