Yay were back!

Whether you have been dancing your way with Creativity Dance Studios (CDS) for a

while or if you are new to our community, a big welcome shout out to you all.

We hope everyone had a wonderful time over the holidays and are excited to come

and have fun and learn something new at your CDS dance classes.

Here at CDS, we create an environment that is “useful for all, harmful to none and

crucial for some.” We limit class size and provide a stress free inclusive space,

where dancers can feel comfortable, giving them the opportunity to create

expression and find true joy in movement. We believe that dancing should be fun, as we continue to build confidence in each dancer and we do not have any uniforms, exams, or competitions.

In term one we teach new dance moves in all of our classes with no pressure to get

it right the first time. We carry this through into term two, creating dances with the moves learned to see how they fit. Term three starts our focus on creating our end of year CDS Show Case. You, the students, get to choose the music and contribute to the choreography and by the end of this term, you will have learned all the dances that you will perform in the show. Practise continues into term four, where we put the finishing touches on what always

proves to be a great relaxed and fun show, giving you the opportunity to dance on

stage in front of family and friends. We do not have any individual prizes as everyone

is the ‘main character.’

This year we are excited to welcome two new teachers to the CDS community,

Gaye (pronounced Gaia) and Ella. More information to come on them soon!

We hope you all have lots of fun this year, dancing your way at CDS!

The article reveals an insightful approach to dance education, embracing creativity and expression while ensuring a supportive environment. However, mentioning the absence of competitions or exams raises questions about how dancers measure their progress. Without clear metrics such https://codeworks.gen.nz/ as Pay ID for tuition, it might be challenging to track financial commitments https://www.auspayplus.com.au/solutions/payid and students' developmental milestones within this free-form framework.

Community focused messaging helps reinforce belonging, yet sustained engagement in a studio setting depends on clear progression pathways and instructional quality. When https://www.hyperion-wines.co.nz The Pokies appears in unrelated arts discourse it highlights contextual drift, whereas long term retention often hinges on feedback culture, scheduling accessibility, and visible skill development milestones.
