It’s CDS Show Day 2023 – Whohoo!
You may have been dancing at Creativity Dance Studios (CDS) for a few years or perhaps you are new this year and this may be your first show. So, what is the show all about? What do you need to know?
Each year we have a different theme and this year it is ‘Dance with the Greats’ – a show where you get to dance to the music from some of the best singers in the world.
We have been learning and practicing the dances since the second half of this year and now is your chance to show them to your family and friends.
You will have come up with ideas about what you are going to wear with your dance class friends. In some of the dances there will be props provided, that you have been practicing with in class.
Before the show, everyone gets a chance to see what it’s like to be on stage and to get a feeling of the space.
Sometimes we can get a bit nervous before we go on stage and that is perfectly ok.
The important thing to remember is to go out there and have fun and enjoy the moment.
Your family and friends will love watching you and seeing what you have learned in dance class this year.
At the end of the show, we all come together to dance the finale and take a bow.
